Sellers on Vinterior have 72 hours to review your order and confirm the item's availability and shipping cost. This is because every item Vinterior is unique, and our dealers sell via different marketplaces. 


If a seller did not manage to confirm your order within the allotted time, you would receive an email from Vinterior stating that your order was auto-cancelled and that you have been refunded for your order.



Why would a seller not confirm an order?

Vinterior allows sellers 72 hours to confirm their sales so that they can check the item's availability and get a delivery quote. This is because sellers only receive your delivery address once your order is placed (unless you speak with them before placing your order). 


Many of our sellers are independent businesses who must get in touch with their local courier to arrange a suitable quote for your order.


While sellers have an active account on Vinterior, they can sometimes not be present to confirm an order. Here are some of the following reasons they can't confirm an order;

  • Personal circumstances.
  • Temporary closure (Covid-19).
  • The seller could not find a delivery quote or working courier in time.
  • The seller was not available to confirm the order over the weekend.
  • The seller was verifying the item's availability.



Why does Vinterior automatically cancel unconfirmed orders?

This is simply a protective measure to ensure that your order will be acknowledged, organised, and delivered if you made a payment on the platform.


Vinterior wants to ensure that sellers update their inventory daily and are active on the platform for their customers.



But I want the item, is this possible?


Vinterior can quickly reinstate an order for you if you have been in touch with the seller and still wish to make your purchase.  


  1. You or the seller contact info@vinterior.co to Vinterior know the item is available.

  2. Vinterior gets in touch with the seller to confirm the item price and delivery price.

  3. Vinterior contacts you for your confirmation to charge your card.

  4. Vinterior updates the order to 'confirmed' for you.

 

This can be handled quickly to ensure that the seller organises delivery and you receive your item as soon as possible.
