How does delivery work?

Vinterior is a marketplace that brings buyers and sellers together. This means the delivery of your order is arranged by the seller, or by Vinterior’s UK delivery partner, Proovia. Delivery information is displayed on each product page, and buyers can contact sellers to organise the most convenient option.


How much is delivery?

Every piece is unique, so delivery prices will vary. Size, location, delivery address, and access restrictions will affect costs. 


However, the price will usually be clearly displayed on the item page (if available), and on your order confirmation email. If you can’t find a listed delivery price or live outside the UK, just click the **‘Contact Seller’** button to request a quote.


How do I pay for delivery?

Delivery costs are charged to the payment card used to make a purchase. This information will be shown in your confirmation email. 


What happens if I cancel my order?

If you cancel before the item is dispatched, you’ll receive a full refund. Unfortunately, the shipping costs won’t be refunded if you cancel after the order has been dispatched.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

 If you return your purchase, you will still have to pay the outbound and return delivery fees. These costs are non-refundable; unless we find that the item was damaged in transportation or the listing was inaccurate or misleading.

What if something goes wrong with my delivery?

If we find that the item was damaged in transportation or determine the listing was inaccurate, misleading, or misrepresented, we will refund your delivery costs.


However, neither our sellers and Proovia (our delivery partner) can be held responsible if an item of furniture can’t be delivered, i.e. if it cannot gain access to, or does not fit in its intended space. We strongly recommend that you measure all access areas before purchasing so that shipping runs nice and smoothly.


Vinterior is also not liable for any damages or losses sustained in transit via third parties.


How long will it take?

Overall, shipping times depend on location, size of the piece, and courier availability; but we aim to deliver all orders within 5-12 days.


Your seller, seller’s courier or Proovia will contact you directly to make delivery arrangements. Please allow up to one week for your delivery date to be confirmed.


Can I collect my order myself?

If you’re able to travel, you can save on delivery costs by collecting your piece directly from the seller. Simply choose ‘Free Collection’ at checkout and arrange a pickup location.


If you want to collect your piece, you must contact the seller within five business days of your purchase to coordinate the pickup. The seller should then have your piece prepared for collection at the agreed-upon location, date and time.


Please note: If you're collecting an item from a seller, you are liable for all collection and delivery-related costs. This includes any customs or import charges.
