How does delivery work?

Vinterior is a marketplace bringing together buyers and sellers worldwide. The delivery of each item is arranged either by the seller that sold it, or by Vinterior’s delivery partner, Proovia. Delivery information for an item is displayed on each product page.


How much is delivery?

As every order is unique, the delivery costs will vary depending on the size, location of the item and delivery address. The delivery costs may vary depending on access restrictions. 

The delivery cost will be displayed on the item page (where available), and on the order confirmation email sent after payment. 

If you cannot see a listed delivery price, please request a quote from the seller via the listing page. 

If you cancel an order after an item has already been dispatched for delivery, the delivery costs are non-refundable.

For items delivered outside the UK buyer needs to request an accurate delivery quote. Please go to the relevant product page, click the 'Ask a Question' button and provide your full delivery address for the seller to confirm the costs.


Who pays for delivery?

The buyer pays for the delivery costs unless free delivery is offered for the item.

The delivery costs will be displayed in the order confirmation email sent to the buyer after the seller accepts an order. Buyers can cancel the order and receive a full refund before the item is dispatched. If the buyer cancels an order after an item has already been dispatched for delivery, the delivery costs are non-refundable.

In case of a return, the delivery costs (i.e. outbound and return delivery costs) are non-refundable unless Vinterior finds that the item was damaged in transportation or determines the listing was inaccurate, misleading, or misrepresented.

In case of a return, the buyer is liable for return delivery costs unless Vinterior finds that the item was damaged in transportation or determines the listing was inaccurate, misleading, or misrepresented.

Specifically, Proovia, Vinterior’s delivery partners, and sellers cannot be held responsible if an item of furniture cannot gain access to or does not fit in its intended space. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you measure all access areas before purchasing.

Vinterior is not liable for any damages or loss sustained in transit via third parties.


How do I pay for delivery?

The delivery costs are charged to the payment card used to make the purchase. This information will be displayed in your order confirmation email and can vary depending on the method of delivery.


How long will it take?

Depending on your location, the size of the item and courier availability, the time to arrange and complete the delivery of your purchased item may vary.

Please allow up to one week before your delivery date is confirmed. The seller, a seller’s courier, or Vinterior’s delivery partner Proovia will contact you directly to make delivery arrangements.


Free collection

Buyers can save on delivery costs by collecting the item directly from the seller's pickup location by choosing 'Free Collection' for an item at checkout.

The buyer must contact the seller within five business days of their purchase to coordinate a pickup date and time. After purchase, the seller must ensure the item is prepared and available for collection at the agreed-upon location, date and time.

Please note, if you're collecting an item from a seller, you are liable for all collection and delivery-related costs including any applicable customs/import charges.
