VAT on Vinterior

VAT is included in Vinterior’s service fee. However, whether VAT is included in an item’s price depends on the individual seller. It’s best to double-check the listing or ask the seller before purchasing.

VAT when buying from or shipping within the EU

1. If you're purchasing from an EU seller shipping to the UK:

Ask whether the item will be shipped DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) or DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid):

  • DDP: The seller handles VAT/duties
  • DDU: You, the buyer, are responsible for any import VAT or customs fees

2. If you're shipping items within the EU (not via the UK):

Local VAT may apply depending on the seller’s registration and the delivery location.

Post-order invoices (available via your Vinterior+ portal):

  • Service Fee Invoice: Vinterior’s service fee always includes VAT. You’ll be able to access a separate invoice for this automatically with your order.
  • Item Invoice: VAT is not always included in the price of items. This depends on the individual seller it is best to double-check whether the items include VAT before purchasing your items.

If you're unsure whether VAT is included on a specific item, you can:

  • Check the listing description
  • Message the seller directly
  • Or contact us at trade@vinterior.co and we’ll help confirm this for you.
