Confirming you've received your order

When your item arrives, we'll email you to confirm. Here's what to look out for, what each option means, what to do if it hasn't arrived, and the 3-day auto-confirm rule.

When your order is marked delivered, we'll email you to ask whether it's arrived. Confirming from that email is currently the only way to mark your order as received, so it's worth keeping an eye out for.

The email reminders

You'll usually get up to two emails after the courier or seller marks your order delivered:

  1. The first arrives within an hour of the delivery being marked.

  2. A second one 48 hours later, only if you haven't confirmed yet.

The emails stop as soon as you confirm.


Confirming from the email

Click the link in the email. You'll land on a page called "Has your item arrived?" with three options. Pick the one that matches your situation:

  1. Yes, item has arrived. Choose this once the piece is with you and you've had a chance to check it over.

  2. Yes, but there's an issue. For damaged items, missing parts, or anything not quite right.

  3. Not arrived yet. Our team will investigate and come back to you within 24 hours.

Take a moment before clicking

The selection is permanent, so pick the option that matches what you're seeing today. If something changes after, you can still email [email protected].

Before clicking 'Not arrived yet': check the tracking

If the seller or courier shared a tracking link, take a look first. Couriers often mark an item delivered and include a photo of where they left it (a porch, a side gate, with a neighbour). If you spot one, your item may already be at your address.

If you don't act: the 3-day auto-confirm

If you don't click anything, your order auto-confirms 3 days after the courier or seller marks it as delivered. You don't need to do anything for this to happen, but actively confirming is faster.

Can't find the email?

It'll come from a Vinterior address. Check your spam or promotions folder if you don't see it after a delivery. Still nothing? Email [email protected] or message us through the chat and we'll mark it for you.

Why your confirmation matters

It releases the seller's payout and lets you leave a seller review. Vinterior's sellers are mostly small, independent dealers, so prompt confirmation helps the people behind your piece.
